During the webinar, Dr. Lynette Adams will discuss the prevalence of interpersonal trauma in the women Veteran population and the proposed pathways to poor health. Women Veterans, LGBTQ+ Veterans and the trauma experienced across lifespans will be reviewed.
She will also cover the broad concept and guiding principles of trauma-informed care and medical care challenges survivors may experience. Attendees will receive tips for Veteran-focused trauma informed care, including:
