Today, we’re excited to announce that we’ve taken our website to the next level with a brand-new look and better access to the information you want.

“We’ve implemented an exciting, fresh design and put a lot of thought into developing an enhanced user experience, so we’re looking forward to you visiting our updated site and seeing what we’ve done to help you navigate your way to a VA career,” said Darren Sherrard, associate director of recruitment marketing.

A bold new look

When we started to redesign our website, we knew we wanted to update the look with a fresh, clean layout. However, we also wanted to make the site easy for everyone navigate—from first-time visitors to returning guests. To do that, we leaned into the aesthetic you’ll find at our VA facilities all across the country.

As you explore the new website, you’ll notice that many of the section headings and resources are color-coded. Just as hospitals and medical centers use colored map lines to guide you where you want to go, we’ve color-coded all information on the site, so at a glance, you’ll be able to know exactly what you’re looking at and what other links directly correspond to your needs.

“In everything we do, we always want to make the information you need easier to find, so this color-coding system makes perfect sense,” Sherrard said. “Tying it back to the map lines we use in our facilities brings a familiar look to the site and makes it consistent with our mission of providing health care to Veterans.”
