I’m submitting this on behalf of my dad, a proud Navy Veteran who served aboard the U.S.S. Tarawa. He’s not just my dad—he’s one of my favorite people in the world. I have so many cherished memories of us together, like riding in his old truck on the way to my Thursday guitar lessons or our trips to Barnes & Noble. He’s the reason my taste in music is so eclectic and meaningful. Beyond being an incredible father, he’s truly one of my best friends, and I’m so grateful for the bond we share.

Just bought a new house a couple months ago. Now my truck has engine nock. Don’t have the extra funds to get it fixed. New truck would be nice. Even if I don’t win which is 100% due to my luck. I’m glad they have these give aways. These always help someone further their future.

I am a single father, disabled navy veteran, election judge (3 decades) cancer survivor (x2) spent 17 years partially paralyzed. Was hit 2x riding a bicycle while homeless 2018, im just getting back on my feet again but was recently injured riding a bike back from a blood draw and received a traumatic brain injury, I am trying to find work but need a vehicle.
I am in my 60s, have ten teeth left in my mouth but its so hard to get anywhere and my son being 8, eliminates patient transportation.
My vehicle was totalled over a year ago, parked at a friend’s and after my over half dozen ambulance rides, what I got for injuries was spent.
I am barely surviving and request to be considered for your gracious vehicle assistance.
    Thank you.

I’m a single veteran struggling to establish myself in a new state, home and job. I am searching for my purpose in life to connect with and help others. A new vehicle will help immensely

I can use a new vehicle to replace my 8-year-old sub compact 4 door sedan. I use my vehicle to haul posters, parachutes, aerial recovery hooks and other equipment when doing presentations about the Retrieval of the United States Spy Satellite film capsules. I was a part of this mission for 17 years on active duty and have done 100’s of presentations on this “Great American Story” Most recently I did five presentations for the Junior ROTC classes at my local high school.

  16. Paul J Milanowski November 27, 2024 at 00:54

We can certainly use a car that would load me and my electric wheelchair right into the car. Life would be so much easier for me and for my wife. We would be ever so grateful. Thank you for this chance to maybe receive what is dearly needed. I am a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran.

  17. Ronald Schwenk Jr November 26, 2024 at 21:48

Please enter me in your contest. I served USAF 1980-88 and now a disabled veteran.
    Thank you

  18. Thomas Aldridge November 26, 2024 at 18:03

This was very hard to enter. Also, if the veterans caregiver does all the driving, therefore not requiring
A drivers license, the contest should accept a valid state issued identification.

  19. Martin G. Lewis, Sr. November 26, 2024 at 15:17

Thank you for my new car!

  20. Oneita K Storey November 26, 2024 at 09:22

We are always looking for a vehicle large enough to handle a wheelchair or walker. My husband cannot leave the house unless we have at least one or the other. What a wonderful idea to help a veteran.

  21. Cynthia Walls November 26, 2024 at 04:21

I am a USAF Veteran who served as B-52 crew chief and as a federal employee, I am proud to serve our Veterans here in the North Dallas Texas Medical Center.

And as a proud parent of a furry four paw English Mastiff/Cane Corso, a rescue, who actually rescued me in days of uncertainty. I am thankful for the emotional support my pet gives – continue to support local animal shelters that aides in the benefits of emotional support to our Veterans.

And thank you for your support. CWALLS

I’ve tried to just put my name in, because I’m driving a 1997 Suburban that Ive spent over the past year, tires, brakes, now it needs a new battery and wipers, priced windshield, over $60.00 for 3 blades, somebody stole three blades, and left the, old ones…….. leave my truck alone and my house! 49. Damond Edwards November 23, 2024 at 10:47

Hello to all my fellow service members and their extended family. I hope you are all well and in good spirits. I just wanted to give my appreciation to Hiring Our Heroes for all of their efforts focusing on giving our service members the attention and opportunities that matches the years of commitment, hard work, and sacrifice we have given. And while these types of acts of charity are not asked or expected for our service, it is very commendable and appreciated for those who are at a disadvantage or in need of reliable transportation, especially in a aggressively competitive economy like the one we’re in today. Saying that even to my own struggles, I hope the person who receives this gift burdens lessen, and they are able to bless and serve others as they have been. God bless to all of the armed forces members past, present, and future, and continue to lend a helping hand and lift those of us up so that we “Never leave a fallen comrade.”

I am writing this for my husband because to me he is an amazing hero.My
Mike joined the Air Force right after graduating in 1967.In 1969 he was sent to Bien Hoa Vietnam as a Security Policeman, for a year.He guarded the base from a tower, walked the perimeter of the base and guarded airplanes that brought in Agent Orange to the base.
He came home in 1970 and we got married and were sent to a base in California where we lived for a year. After he got out he was a Policeman for awhile and then we decided to join my family in the grocery business. We raised 3 amazing children and retired 6 years ago. ❤️ After retirement My Mike started to have issues remembering words, driving and overall was very
anxious. After many Dr. Appointments and many different scans,he was diagnosed with Left Frontal Lobe Dementia…..our life was turned upside down…That was 5 years ago.A few months after that diagnoses we were also told he had Parkinsons and hundreds of tiny brain bleeds!?!Apparently this had been slowly coming on for a very long time.
After many Appointments with the V.A. and many hours of paperwork ( 10 months) my 2 daughters and I got word that his Parkinsons was certainly caused by exposure to Agent Orange and the V.A
That was 3 months ago !!!He was allowed to be placed in an amazing V.A. center in our little town in Idaho.. The care that he has been give has been incredible!!Unfortunately he can’t walk, can’t feed himself and just recently
doesn’t always know who we are BUT…
he is happy and comfortable and that’s all we have prayed for.Its been 5 hard years of going through this process. Many tears and long days and nights that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I would like to think my family is stronger and more compassionate because of all of our struggles.? Maybe we’ll figure that out later. Thanks for listening ❣️

My Vet is one of a kind. His Service goes beyond the VA. He loves humanity. He was in the Army in Vietnam, returned to serve in the National Guard and was 1st to become a part of Desert Storm. Years after he suffered deeply from PTSD but thank goodness for the VA. They helped, and in return He helped build a garden that stayed open for 2 successful years. Then covid All in all. He has never felt deserving of anything. If he could only see what I see. I would love him to win this Toyota. His car just bit the dust. This would be a blessing of a lifetime!

  66. Robert Taylor November 22, 2024 at 11:12

Hi, I applied for a chance to win the Toyota, filled everything out and submitted, but there was no noticed that it was received. The screen just disappeared. I tried a few times to resubmit but I hope those times won’t disqualify.
    Thank you

this year. It ran like new and was best truck that I ever owned, it never let me down. Thank you for what you do for veterans.

  102. Chris Spence November 21, 2024 at 15:29

Thank you the folks at Toyota and all the sponsors that help put this together for one hell of a lucky veteran that is absolutely going to lose their bearing when they find out!

I enrolled in this opportunity for my two ESA’s Goose AKC GSD & Chloe AMERICAN Pitbull that I’d like to show the ocean and the Southwest desert to but don’t have the means. But first go visit my 82-year-old dad that I havent been able to visit in 5 years.
Sgt CH-53E Heavy Marine Helicopter Crew Chief, plane captain, CDI, Gunner, Load Master.
    Operation Edge Mallet &
    Operation Enduring Freedom ’01–’02
    Operation Iraqi freedom ’03-’04.

Wait wait! Wait! Wait… It’s so crazy! This is the vehicle you’re offering. My best friend and fellow crew chief Mike Tayaotao “Toyota” to many, but to me he was just Mike and I used to ride around town in Miramar and Poway in San Diego in his immaculate 1996 manual Toyota SR5 V6 in Gray. He took meticulous care of that truck and loved it. Intensely just as I loved my 1997 E36 M3, we talked cars all the time and went everywhere together. Fishing restaurants and carousing downtown where our favorite activities. He let moved into EOD in 2004 and in Aug 2007 on his third tour he would lose his life doing his job diffusing as he did often more than a dozen times a day as I understand. Our plans to go to school together at San Diego State never came to fruition but I did go on to get my degree from Maryland and one day I said I’d have his same truck but they’re becoming ever more increasingly difficult to find. He was my best friend winner know when I’m going to have a Toyota truck with his name on the back to replace the proper spelling of Toyota with taytaotaoa. Very special edition indeed. Truly, thank you for the opportunity. Now, as Sandler said, Let’s go Big Whiffer!

    • RJ Noel November 22, 2024 at 11:01

I’d served in both the Marine Corps and the Army then did a couple years working for the DoD. As life sometimes throws a wrench into our future plans, everything took a drastic turn and i ended up homeless and without a good vehicle since 2012. Not to get into a really long story, still do not have a good vehicle or residence and my health has taken turn for the worse. Need this truck desperately.

I served 23 years, Four in the Navy and nineteen years in the Coast Guard. My rating was Quartermaster (Navigation field). When I retired in 1996, I worked several dead end jobs and was getting a little discouraged. While traveling through a town near me, I saw a billboard for the IBEW, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. I went to their Union Hall, filled out some paper work, answered some questions and the next thing I know, I’m in their five year Apprenticeship program and was immediately placed out on a long call at a local steel mill. The contractor paid medical, dental and vision for me and my family. We worked Ten hour days and 8 to 10 hours on Saturday. Anything over 8 hours in a day was time and a half. Saturday and an occasional Sunday was all time and a half. I was 40 years old, had some debt and was able to clear it all on my first 6 months on the job and pay for a house after 19 years. Besides staying in the military, joining the Electrical Workers Union was the best career choice i made. The electrical construction trade is in urgent need of workers and may be a great choice for you. To the VA News, I feel you should post info concerning Union endeavors for Vets.

  147. Henry Hugo November 21, 2024 at 11:26

There’s a lot of vets in Hawaii and Alaska who drive Toyotas. Why do you disallow their participation.

  150. Bruce Nelson USN Vietnam Vet November 21, 2024 at 11:25

To the whiners that feel offering a Toyota as a prize (vs a Ford or GM product) is an unAmerican slap in the face, realize most Toyotas are manufactured in the U.S. providing 1,000’s of jobs for Americans. The quality and reliability of their products is something Ford & GM would do well to try and emulate!
If the prize was a German product, well, …. questionable morals, values and ethics would then come into play! (Think VW, Porsche, Audi?)

  151. Brian Redford November 21, 2024 at 11:21

Entering service of our great country was one of the best things I did in my life that help me be a better American. A lot of fellow civilians do not understand what is involved when enlisting into the military but still show their appreciation. I intentionally and publicly step forward to give my gratitude to our active duty service members and first responders. It is important for them to know that their service to nation and community is recognized by their neighbors as noble and worthy of personal gratitude. For them as well as myself it is an honor to serve.

  152. Harvey H. McIntyre November 21, 2024 at 11:19

  154. Barry Starkey November 21, 2024 at 11:12

why not offer American products instead of foreign owned.

    • Miguel Staten November 21, 2024 at 12:33

Please lets not do that. Toyota has thought enough of us to be willing to give one away free. Lets be grateful as veterans that we live in a free country that allows Toyota to do so. Lets count our blessing and not block them.

  155. Johnny o. Ratliff November 21, 2024 at 11:03

What are people upset about giving away a toyota. Most of the toyotas are made in the u.s.a.and they are built by American workers.

  156. James Scott November 21, 2024 at 11:01

Thank you in advance for giving me a new vehicle. When delivered to me, I will in turn give my current vehicle to another veteran. Hoo Rah !!

I’ve always wanted a truck but because of verious things have never been in a position to get one. I guess the old saying (the apple don’t fall far from the tree) can be true in some cases. My father was in the same situation wanting a truck all his life and finally got one when he was 69 but had to give up driving at age 72 do to illness. Now I’m 71 and still hoping to get one.

  168. William P Baumann November 21, 2024 at 10:01

My husband and I are veterans and if I win this truck I would be giving it to my husband. He works so hard day in and day out and even when we were in the military he was so selfless and caring. He deserves this truck so much and it would be an amazing Christmas present. He has been wanting a truck for so long and we live in Colorado so it would be perfect for winter time too. I hope everyone has a great day :)

Reading some of the comments below reminds me of when I was in Viet Nam. If a soldier is complaining, it means he is still healthy. What you are doing is way more than facetime, it would be interesting to have the people who gripe about it, look behind the scene. Thank you for your efforts, I know it aint easy.

  176. Vic Lee November 21, 2024 at 09:47

I served in the Navy from ‘64 to ‘70, and the Navy Reserve from ‘81 to ‘85.
I am proud to have served and appreciative of the excellent service I have received from the VA regarding health issues. I have benefitted greatly from the VA hospitals in Louisiana, Dallas, and Little Rock. Much of the great care I have received has been through the Community Care program. This program has been a blessing for those of us who do not live in close proximity to a VA Hospital.

Having had to drive great distances to get VA medical services(Borrego Springs-San Diego, Cedarville-Reno,190 miles, Wallowa to Walla Walla, Wallowa toLa Grande, and once, Wallowa to Portland OR.), Community Care means driving one mile if I do not want to walk.
Back and joints are going to shiite(Agent Orange), and driving quit being fun years ago.
VA finally got something right, after trying to winkle help from it since ’72.

  177. Richard Tinker November 21, 2024 at 09:41

My time in the Coast Guard taught me many life lessons, including skills, taking responsibility, dependability and punctuality. I see many young people that could do much better with their lives and careers if they had these attributes. Hire a vet!

  178. Danny Justice November 21, 2024 at 09:36

Be nice to have a Easter present.

  179. ROGER WHITE November 21, 2024 at 09:36

Good deal I need a new one, haven’t owned a new vehicle since 1979

  180. Robert Martin November 21, 2024 at 09:35

A shout out to the VA hospital in Bedford, MA. Very helpful, professional and respectful!

  181. Mark Hindbaugh November 21, 2024 at 09:29

Thank you for helping all the vets it means alot

  182. CJ November 21, 2024 at 09:26

I’m 72 and living on social security that I paid into my entire working life and now will probably lose it as our new president has promised to eliminate all social programs because he doesn’t care about vets, winning a car would be great!

    • David November 21, 2024 at 09:42

President-Elect Trump has never said he’s getting rid of social security. You are unfortunately believing lies. Trump did good things for our country his first term and he will this time too. I’m 68 and am not worried about Trump taking it away.

    • Robert E Fuller November 21, 2024 at 10:56

I hope your kidding, what do you listen to for your news?
      Bob Fuller

    • Greg Smith November 21, 2024 at 11:14

Did you also hear he wants to eliminate taxes on social security? Trump cares more about vets than this administration.

      • Michael O'Keeffe November 22, 2024 at 02:23

Amen!!! Pretty much says it all stop being so naive & believing the same Democrat propaganda.

    • Aebe mac Gill November 21, 2024 at 22:15

Privatising SSA means using investments to support taxed dollars, just as every state retirement system does. SSA was meant to provide for the basics for old folks, not a grand and well funded retirement. Add to that its giving money to those who have never paid into the system….It cannot survive as it is presently.

  183. Anonymous November 21, 2024 at 09:23

As a Veteran with a bachelors in Information Technology and a Masters in Cybersecurity I have applied to many positions within the Federal and the VA. Not one opportunity has been provided, Hiring our Heroes is lip service. (disgruntled to say the least)

    • Aebe mac Gill November 21, 2024 at 22:22

In ’79 I interviewed for a job at the Sacramento City Zoo, was told to get myself CETA certified and I had a job. Down to the unemployment office, which had a banner strung on a wall, “Best Bet, Hire a Vet!”. The yahoo I dealt with told me I had to be unemployed for six months and veterans were not given preference. Wound up being escorted out of the building by cops.
Retired Laborer/ Blacksmith, did wind up working for Ca state parks, ’80-’92.

  184. Charles Michael Intrieri November 21, 2024 at 09:18

I am a VietNam Air Force Veteran. I was an honor grad at AMARILLO Advanced INFANTRY TRAINING center in 1966. I use the VA in San Luis Obispo, CA.

    • Pepe November 21, 2024 at 11:11

Same happens to me. I have two Master’s Degree but I never receive a letter for and interview.

  185. Vergie hawkins November 21, 2024 at 09:08

This is going to truly help someone, thank you for thinking about us vets.

    • Veteran November 21, 2024 at 10:31

VA website is craptastic. SPAM content from advertising scammers… I’m STILL waiting for that Starbucks card…

Maybe give the VA back to the Vets??

The VA straddles the line between help and harm.

No “link disclaimer” will absolve the dangers you now peddle to Veterans.

And whatever robot deciding that denying endorsement was useful: WRONG. Inclusion on this site is 100% Endorsement Optics.

      DUH.

Get your sh-t together so that we can, too!

  186. Robert Rowe November 21, 2024 at 09:05

I think that this is just super great American Veterans offered a foreign vehicle to win whats wrong with giving a GM or Ford the only 2 true American companies in this country now. I don’t want to win a foreign vehicle to drive around the country that I fought for in Viet Nam thank you so much you’re doing a great job for the other countries too bad you don’t want to do something for this country. What country are you from?

    • Ray November 21, 2024 at 09:40

Toyota trucks are made in the United States and Mexico, depending on the model and the plant.
The Tundra is assembled at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas (TMMTX) plant in San Antonio, Texas. Some key components for the Tundra are produced at the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) facility in Princeton, Indiana, and then shipped to Texas for assembly. Just sayin.

    • Anonymous November 21, 2024 at 10:26

Are any cars 100% American made?
While several automakers got their start making cars in America, you won’t find any vehicles on the market that are 100% American-made. Today, manufacturers outsource their car production. So brands with American origins now make their cars in other countries, and foreign brands outsource some production in America. Mar 15, 2024

  187. Charles T. Wohlnick November 21, 2024 at 09:05

It was a pleasure to serve the American people.

  188. Michael E. Sharp November 21, 2024 at 09:02

Thank you for the opportunity to win a vehicle, I could not otherwise afford.

    • Charles Vinez November 21, 2024 at 09:35

Thank you but the soldier is correct. Why don’t you give an American vehicle? My ancestors died at the hands of the Japanese.

  189. Robert Gilliard November 21, 2024 at 08:54

    This is truley asthum.

  190. Wilfred stevens November 21, 2024 at 08:06

  191. Joe Martico November 21, 2024 at 08:04

It is refreshing to see and hear our military people are being honored and respected as they give their most for our country

  192. MillsGruber November 21, 2024 at 07:38

The thought of winning a new car would be an answer to prayer. Being retired and on a fixed income with a car approaching 80,000 miles means a significant outlay of money.

  193. Casimiro Rodriguez November 21, 2024 at 07:35

This is an excellent idea for the many military members

  194. Stephen Janney November 21, 2024 at 07:12

Served from 70 to 73 in the us army. It’s great to be able to see some things done for our veterans and their families.
Makes me proud to be a part of this

  195. Oscar Leal November 21, 2024 at 07:12

God bless you. I would like to be entered into this contest.

    • Michael Guerin November 21, 2024 at 09:57

Vietnam veteran, you are doing such a great thing for veterans.

  196. Robert Bredeson November 21, 2024 at 07:08

Thank you for this chance to win a car that I could use

  197. Harry Green November 21, 2024 at 07:02

    I love veterans!

  198. CLAYTON A ROBERTS November 21, 2024 at 06:56

We need to improve the service at the VA hospital. I am not able to speak to many of the people in the various clinic departments.

  199. GLORIA J REED November 21, 2024 at 06:26

I’m a veteran, who needs an automobile for my many doctor appointment. Having a vehicle would make things so much easier for me.

    • Bethany November 21, 2024 at 15:06

U ain’t kidding I been walking for a year now I been saving its just not that easy to go get a car unfortunately!!!! Wish u luck

  200. Bill Osborn November 21, 2024 at 06:18

How was it even considered to give a Toyota to an American Veteran? You should only be using our own American manufacturers. Shame on whomever did this. You should take it back!

    • Veteran November 21, 2024 at 10:43

Agreed. Emphasis on greed. Some .org provided me with household goods. I was so grateful until I saw the cheap and awful quality- Pans from India that rusted on first wash, sheets from China made of polyester so thin that I thought they were curtains, bath towels made from high percentage *recycled plastic* from China. This charity gets $90K per veteran- the guy yelled it into the phone, “Come sign up!” They wouldn’t let me shop for myself, though. I was denied some essentials, too, bc they said their finance dept turned down the request(iron, Ironing board, and Joy of Cooking book). Priorities.

  201. Jim Dierdorf November 21, 2024 at 05:49

Thank you for helping the Veterans

  202. Mike Sutherland November 21, 2024 at 05:34

This, “Win a new truck,” seems to be marketing to phish for personal information. I filled out the information per sweepstakes rules just to have a message that my email address was already used. This means I could not complete the form to enter the sweepstakes, yet, this third party vender masquerading as a champion for members of the armed forces, is taking advantage of active armed forces , retired and veterans. SHAME!!

  203. Justice should be for all November 21, 2024 at 05:32

Most of the veterans that truly deserve anything more than likely didn’t get an honorable discharge because of all the injustice within our government and especially military,

  204. Kenneth Evans 9814 November 21, 2024 at 05:20

I would love to win a Toyota truck for my travel bunch of get around to medical appointments

  205. Melvin Perez November 21, 2024 at 05:12

Thank you for taking care of us.

  206. Charles Fairchild November 21, 2024 at 05:02

I was in the army during the Vietnam war

  207. Royal DeAsis November 21, 2024 at 04:46

I am a Navy Viet Nam era veteran that served from 1964-69. Mor specifically, my heritage is Tlingit Nation from Alaska on my mother’s side, and my father was an American Nationalized Citizen from the Philippines.
Being from Alaska………I’m sorry I don’t qualify for this veteran/active military contest.
Anyone remember the “code talkers” from WW II ?

  208. Richard Leonard Brenneman November 21, 2024 at 03:36

Oh, thank you for this chance to win a truck or car.

  209. George Pavelich November 21, 2024 at 03:24

The VA is providing a tremendous amount of information with guidance and help in every possible area of life for all Veterans and active duty and family members. I sincerely feel like I can get help and guidance with anything from healthcare to career or job assistance, legal help, transportation, a variety of self improvement programs and the list goes on and on.

And I am extremely and sincerely grateful for the Veterans Administration and proud to have served in the military for our country!

  210. George Njirich November 21, 2024 at 03:17

    I want to win

    • D'Aldo Alaniz November 21, 2024 at 11:03

Currently, I am a disabled veteran who is not able to work. I have taken the responsibility of caring for an individual with special needs. I served twenty-one years from 11-11-1992 until 11-12-2013. It would be a great blessing to win this truck and be out of a car note. Thank you for this opportunity. GOD BLESS YOU.

  211. Thomas Wallace November 21, 2024 at 02:51

    I need a vehicle doesn’t have to be new…

  212. D combs November 21, 2024 at 02:40

  218. Donald Nalley November 21, 2024 at 00:22

I am surprised that an organization would give away new vehicles to service members and veterans. I feel appreciated and cared for. Thank you

  227. Dennis Kirk November 21, 2024 at 00:00

This vehicle would really help us out of a tough spot. My wife and I live in SW Florida and have been hit hard with several hurricanes in the last year or two. Major flooding from some of these like IAN, Helene and Milton not only put 5 feet of water in our house where we lost everything but also flooded our vehicle. I am in a wheelchair due to a stroke a few years ago so transportation is necessary for doctors and PT. I am a Veteran of USMC, joined in 1969.

  228. Pamela Greed November 20, 2024 at 23:50

this nice but I tried entering and it keeps saying my email was already used. This tells me someone is using my email address. Can you check it?

I served in the Air Force from1989 -1999

  231. Ginny November 20, 2024 at 23:44

Sorry but I feel Veteran survivors (widows) should be included. We have been through their PTSD, and combat connected illnesses. Many were the sole caretakers which wasn’t easy and then to watch them die. Our love for them never waived. Our sacrifices are never acknowledged.

  232. Frank A Kujawa November 20, 2024 at 23:44

I’m a Vietnam veteran so I can enter.

  233. RUDY Werle November 20, 2024 at 23:42

A very nice and helpful jesture for our military familys. Thank yoi/

  234. Ralph Brown November 20, 2024 at 23:20

I think it stinks that veterans are disqualified from a contest for living in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

  235. Robert E Thames November 20, 2024 at 23:16

This is a wonderful thing you do for our Veterans.

  250. Charles Robinson November 20, 2024 at 21:52

When I entered there was some kind of glitch error in the capcha thing and it didn’t show that I had been entered. When I tried to reenter the win a car, it said that my email had already been used. So how do I know if I have actually been entered?

So I live in Alaska , USN Seabee Retired, 2 tours in Vietnam, 22 years active duty and your rules say I must live in “ Contiguous states”
You do know Alaska and Hawaii are states, states with lots of veterans. Why are we not eligible?

  258. Thomas Buck November 20, 2024 at 21:27

Wishing the best of luck to the winner! Thank you VA for all of your help in receiving my 90% disability rating. I am currently not able to drive except for short trips so my wife will be the main driver of our new Toyota……she deserves it !

  259. Joseph S Lopez November 20, 2024 at 21:22

I need a truck, I am a disabled Vietnam veteran, with leukemia from agent orange exposure. Please consider my entry into your contest. Sincerely, Joseph Lopez, US Navy veteran.

  264. Rufus Ogilvie November 20, 2024 at 21:00

If you are going to post a sweepstakes or contest, the rich, wealthy, elitist Corporation and their sponsers ARE RESPONSIBLE TO INSURE THE FAIRNESS OF THE PROPOSED CONTEST. FYI: i TRIED TO ENTER THIS CONTESTS OR SWEEPSTAKES ON 3 SEPARATE BROWSERS, THIS VETERAN WAS NOT ABLE TO ENTER BECAUSE THE cloudfare OR SOME OTHER CORPORATE GIMICK MADE SUCH ENTRIES IMPOSSIBLE. iN MY EXPERIENCE THIS IS HOW CORPORATE CRIMINALS NEVER, EVER HAVE TO HAVE AN ACTUAL WINNER OR PRIZE. tHIS IS A HOAX AND A SCAM!!!!!

  265. Roy Rohloff November 20, 2024 at 20:47

Thanks for the chance to win a car!!

  266. Heidi Jo Bean November 20, 2024 at 20:47

Would love to enter. However you portal rejects me every time.

  269. William L Johnson November 20, 2024 at 20:45

Seems rather discriminatory for veterans in two of our United States, Alaska and Hawaii, to be denied participation in the contest. We also served our country.

  270. Chad Sims November 20, 2024 at 20:42

Can I enter if I live in Alaska. And willing to fly and pickup if I win?

  271. sandy charles November 20, 2024 at 20:36

Would love to own a Toyota

  272. Joseph Markiewicz November 20, 2024 at 20:32

  284. BARRY TROST November 20, 2024 at 20:12

I THINK THIS IS A WONDERFUL THING TO DO FOR THE VETS BUT, WHY JUST ONE VEHICLE FOR THE MILLIONS OF VETERANS ? GOLLY GEE, THAT SEEMS TO ME TO BE AWFUL CHEAP. WHY NOT ATLEAST 1 VEHICLE FOR EACH SERVICE ?? THAT SOUNDS A LITTLE MORE REASONABLE TO ME.
    JUST A THOUGHT..

  285. Robert Hammill November 20, 2024 at 20:12

I can’t believe you are promoting a car give away and using a foreign vehicle! What are you thinking.? This is the United States of America. Whatever happened to buy American?

This is truly one of the best ways to show appreciation for our service men and women. There are so many in need of a new vehicle that will never see one otherwise

Thanks for doing this for Veterans ….

  303. Daniel Richard Ballew November 20, 2024 at 19:30

Lots of Veterans I know do not have a Valid Driver’s License!!
Why are they not eligible to inner?
Gee-wiz they may not even own a vehicle at all.
Know many who have others bring them to VA for medical treatment.
THIS IS TOTAL DISCRIMINATION against these Veteran’s.!!
This is Exactly why many Veterans hate the VA I been told.
Did anyone ever think how wonderful it would be for a NON-DRIVING VETERAN
to be able to give a wonderful reliable new vehicle to his friend who helped him get to medical attention every day he could not?? Nope not a one of you did.!! Shame on ALL OF YOU!
BET this won’t be Posted in your Comments!
I wrote what I did because I am one of those Veterans.

Been without my own vehicle for about 2 years due to my own stupidity and not paying my tickets or anything car related thinking i could go unnoticed.

  306. James C Littlejohn Sr November 20, 2024 at 19:25

Any day a new vehicle is given away, w/o strings attached, is a wonderful day. Thanks for giving some AD or Vet or their spouse the opportunity to win a new Toyota. ?

  307. louis alexander November 20, 2024 at 19:22

Does a lot of good when you cant enter contest because ( the problem isn’t resolved in the next few minutes, it’s most likely an issue with the web server you were trying to reach.)

  308. James Michael Hester November 20, 2024 at 19:20

As a recipient of the American Spirit Honor Metal I hold the value of the military very high.

I am an American and I love ❤️ my country.

  335. Patricia Hulslander November 20, 2024 at 18:27

I am the widow of a retired Air Force veteran – he passed Dec 30, 2023. He was 100% disabled from the VA and I was his caretaker for a long time prior to his death. So I am NOT eligible to enter the contest??? Seems unreasonable to me.

  336. Garrett Barton November 20, 2024 at 18:25

    Not an American vehicle? Surprised.

  337. David Lowry November 20, 2024 at 18:20
