Navigating life after military service can be a challenge. Many Veterans struggle to find the right resources for benefits, employment, housing and mental health support once they enter civilian life. That’s why VETLIFE created Battle Buddy, a free mobile app designed to connect Veterans and their families with the help they need.

Battle Buddy is a central coordinating hub that puts all essential services at your fingertips. It provides a wealth of resources, including information about VA benefits, financial assistance, job placement, housing programs, mental health support and more. Instead of searching endlessly for answers, Veterans can find trusted, vetted resources in one easy-to-use platform. Whether you need immediate assistance or long-term support, Battle Buddy helps you get connected fast.

Battle Buddy is available to all Veterans, active duty service members transitioning to civilian life and their dependents. The goal is to ensure every Veteran has quick access to the resources they’ve earned.

Good day; I receive a VA compensation monthly(very appreciative). I was recently recommended to get involved in specific physical therapy exercises. I am permitted to use our county facility. However, there is a form or card I am required to present to the fitness center to have access. I am not sure what I should do or the correct process to obtain this verification card. My rating is 40%; perhaps that may not qualify for the identification card required. Thank you for any assistance that can be offered.
    Sincerely,
    Jeff

My ex husband is in desperate need of skilled nursing care and because of dementia and wandering hands we cannot find a place for him to go. Do we ask the doctor to stop all his medications and just just let him die??? I accepted his POA to help him and now I am at a loss. Praying that a VA home will take him! Please help!!

    Battle Buddy needs a website!

My devices are old and I can not afford to update them to use the app which requires iOS 16 or higher.

    Thank you!

I don’t use any of those other social media places.
US Army 1963-1965, original draftee, , of the Vietnam Era, wasn’t sent to Vietnam, therefore a lessor veteran. Can’t even join the local VFW.

Hello, I am a 100% DAV, 64 years old and living alone in Wesley Chapel. My home has been broken into multiple times by my neighbors who steal whatever they want including groceries and supplies. In addition, they sabotage my appliances and personal items, like my sewing machines. I have had many locks installed and reinstalled but they manage to break in anyways. I reported this to the police many times over the past 5 years. They know who it is and why but nothing is ever done. I need a security door installed as well as a camera system they cannot manipulate. I just want to know what is being done about it. There is a detective assigned for the past 2 years but she never answers my calls. Nothing has changed. I cannot move because I feel like the problems would just follow me. I need a lawyer so I can sue them based on the last 5 years worth of break ins and other incidences, such as my 2 yr old maltese dog being poisoned to death. I have never done anything to these people but since I am alone, I am an easy target. I just want to sue them to stop it once and for all.

The VA is incredibly screwed up. People do not answer phones. Doctors tell me they order x rays or mri,s that were never ordered or were cancelled. Doctors nurses get confused over exactly what the doctors want. Some workers have serious attitude problems. The podiatry department in the dallas hospital are poorly trained and one of them likes to call patients and cancell appointments. There is much more.

If someone downloads your app, and then searches for something like mental health Help, do you, and your app, maintain a database of the things people search for and then have a history of those items and searches that you could sell to data brokers who could sell that information to insurance companies or government agencies. Or do you have no reason to maintain a database of searches made by people who use your app and therefore do not Maintain databases and histories?
