Beginning August 13 through September 11, VA will mail official “Choose VA” postcards to approximately 3.8 million Veterans who are not enrolled in VA healthcare. If you receive one, don’t throw it away. It’s a legitimate VA communication designed to help Veterans learn about their healthcare eligibility and how to enroll.

A quick but important reminder about scams
You may have seen VA’s recent fraud alert regarding the “Veterans Savings Program” postcard scam, which has appeared in multiple states over the past year. Those postcards were not sent by VA, and Veterans are urged to discard them. When receiving Veteran related messaging, always consider what the message is asking you to do. VA only uses official channels such as www.va.gov or phone numbers that you can easily search online to see if it’s a VA number. If scanning a QR code, look on your camera to see if the address is pointing to a www.va.gov address; some scams try to make the link appear to be legitimate.
These new Choose VA postcards are legitimate VA communications. They come directly from VA as part of an official outreach campaign and shouldn’t be mistaken for past scams we’ve warned about. Ensuring Veterans don’t accidentally throw away these helpful mailers is a key part of the messaging—especially since previous scam alerts led many Veterans to be cautious with unexpected mail.
If you ever suspect fraud or are unsure about a communication you’ve received, VA encourages Veterans and survivors to report concerns through VSAFE, an official resource dedicated to helping protect Veterans from scams. You can:

You need to fix the Font Color on your webpages; they are not dark enough against the grey background. It’s not just frustrating, it makes the message unreadable. If I can’t read it, why should I pay attention to it?

I think not only telling us about the Choose VA postcards. you should be asking if we have someone in mind that you should be sending the postcards to. I have a neighbor who we have told to apply for the VA health but has not taken that step.

Why brother with the VA? It has been routinely exposed to be involved in numerous scams over the years. It is staffed with only demonoRAT employees that are card carrying demonoRATs and it only treats veterans that are demonoRATs. what about us that are enrolled in VA Healthcare system? Why are we excluded?
VA what are you thinkingm ? I tried to make an appointment for a simple annual physical with my white team Doctor Jacyliyn Y Penita at Williams Jennings Dorn facility in Columbia South Caroline.
No appointments are available until January 2027. “WOW very timley” yep hope I don’t have an incurable cancer.
However they did get me an appointment for October 13th 2026 with Doctor Boating
I do encourage all veterans to please register and sign up and check carefully for hidden benefits the VA do not tell you about but may be eligible for.

As I have said many times over this VA in Lake City, Florida and parts of Gainesville VA are just engrossed with full fraud and scams for the veterans and the seniors. When are we gonna get here to review the issues and bring the law down on them? I have many people in the VA and in American Legion and in the DAV NEFNVFWVFW organizations hopefully they will listen to this situation and get it done.
I’m a veteran myself, and I’ve seen some civilian doctors for most of my issues. Since I’m T&P, should the VA pay for all my medical bills or just the “service-connected” ones? Do I get one of these cards too, or what?
BTW, LTC Harris, Sir. I am not a DemocRAT. I am a strong Independent thinker on American rights, and I exercise my rights to weigh them against all things against the BIBLE. If they don’t line up with the Scriptures, then I don’t agree, and it’s the same with any political person, place, idea, or logic. If it’s against the GOD of the universe, the GOD of the Bible, the ONE who sent HIS SON (whose name is JESUS), who was born from a virgin, lived a perfect life, and died on a cross for us. Three days later, the cross again for us in body form. And will be back again for us who believe this; then, that is the GOD I believe in, love, as we were and are always doing wrong, because he did this for us, and serve and want the world to know too. I get some of my care with the VA and some of the people working there are God-fearing people too.
