Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Paul R. Allen. Paul served from 1943 to 1946 during World War II.

Paul was drafted into the Army in February 1943, where he served in the 386th Infantry Regiment and the 97th Infantry Division. In 1945, he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and towards the end of World War II, he fought in Czechoslovakia. After completing 6 months overseas and serving on active duty for three years, Paul was commissioned as a second lieutenant.

Paul was honorably discharged from the Reserves in 1956, and spent his time earning both a bachelor’s degree (1952) and a Master of Business Administration (1960).

Thank you for your service, Paul!
