Several national level organizations are hosting 2020 Veterans Day virtual events Nov. 11 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Early registration is now open for Student Veterans of America’s (SVA) annual conference, NatCon 2020, which will be held in Los Angeles on January 3-5, 2020. NatCon is the largest annual gathering of student Veterans in the country, in addition to advocates, thought-leaders, stakeholders, and supporters in higher education.

Women were featured prominently during the 2018 Student Veterans of American convention due to feedback requesting additional programming for women.
Our opportunity as a nation to deliver our promise to Veterans is made possible by the always-improving education benefits provided to Veterans, starting with The Servicemen's Readjustment Act, which was signed in 1944, and led to the Montgomery GI Bill, the Post 9/11 GI Bill and 2017's Forever GI Bill.
We will never forget those we lost. We will never lose our gratitude for those who responded to save others that day. And we will always remember to appreciate those who decided to serve and protect our freedom, inspired by that tragic day.
