During this year’s Black History Month, let us honor and celebrate all African American Veterans who have risked, and often sacrificed, their lives in service to this great nation.
The oldest female Veteran, the high-spirted, fun-loving, amazing local celebrity, Alyce Dixon, died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 108 years old.
World War II Veteran Alyce Dixon is now 108-years young.
