These outreach opportunities and experiences are tailored to the unique needs of the Veteran community.

VA began deploying Mobile Vet Center units the week of March 16 to expand Veteran outreach in communities affected during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every year Senior enlisted leaders, representing all services – active, reserve, and retired gather from all parts of the United States to attend the largest gathering of senior non-commissioned officers in America, the Great Sergeants Major Reunion.  This year it was held in Houston, Texas and more than 400 SGMs were there.

Local Vietnam Veteran finds closure at St. Louis Vet Center

This approach considers that only about 30 percent of Veterans use VA health care — underscoring the need for innovative ways to connect Veterans to resources and information.

The Milwaukee VA regional office collaborated withVA's Office of Tribal and Government Relations and VBA’s Benefits Assistance Service to assist Veterans with their VA claims was well as educate and promote awareness of VA benefits. 

Participants will learn about counseling, outreach, referral services and are encouraged ask questions in the comments section.
