VA still provides critical resources to make the pursuit of federal contracts accessible to entrepreneurs who’ve served in the military. In a digital event on Thursday, March 9, Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will interview two leading Veterans who will provide information and answer questions about services and resources available through VA’s Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization.
Army Veteran Jules Tchoujan, senior director of acquisitions at VA; and Navy Veteran Antoine Broughton, director of VA’s Direct Access Program, will talk about how they have continued their missions to serve those who served.
From small business liaisons stationed nationwide to offer advice to Veteran-owned businesses to critical resources, VA, as executed through the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization, remains a tremendous resource for Vetrepreneurs. VA is also vigorous in pursuing efforts to ensure that it meets its goals for contract set-asides for small business concerns. The Vets First Contracting Program is the basis for which VA sets aside contracts for service-disabled Veteran-owned small businesses and Veteran-owned small businesses.
Tune in to DAV’s social networks on March 9 at 2 p.m. EST for this important conversation with VA’s Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization.
