Today, we’re visiting the Midwest to look at jobs at the Marion VA Medical Center (VAMC) and see what the community of Marion, Indiana, has to offer.
First up, the City of Marion has a history tied to some pretty cool cats. It is the birthplace of both film legend James Dean and cartoonist Jim Davis, creator of the comic strip character Garfield.
Marion and the surrounding region also offer many quality-of-life amenities, with easy access to outdoor activities like camping, hiking, biking, canoeing and more. For indoor types, you’ll have access to museums, art galleries, plenty of specialty shopping, and even a roller rink that has been in operation for more than 70 years.
