Grant Rhine enlisted in the Marines Corps in October 2005 and was stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. He served as a fire team leader and squad lead with 2nd Marine Division. After four years of service, he pursued higher education at North Carolina State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
After working in the automotive quality control industry and starting a family, Rhine went back to school at East Carolina University (ECU) and achieved a graduate certificate in business. He is now currently enrolled in ECU’s Master of Business Administration program.
While remaining busy with family, work and school, Rhine still finds time to give back to the Veteran community through his involvement in the North Carolina contingent of “Irreverent Warriors,” a band of Veterans united by humor and camaraderie. Their mission aims at fostering mental wellness and curbing Veteran suicide through various outreach programs and community events.
We honor his service.
