VA invites Veterans, their families, caregivers, survivors, and the public to honor fallen service members by attending Memorial Day ceremonies at VA National Cemeteries, VA Medical Centers, and surrounding communities across the country.
Overall trust in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has reached an all-time high. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, 82% of Veterans who used VA services — including health care, benefits, burials and memorials — reported that they trust VA to fulfill the nation’s commitment to them.





I am very happy that our government and especially our citizens are doing something for our veterans. It was different when I came home. That’s all I’ll say about that.
We’ve elected many people in all of our organizations to help us (vets) to get back into society and became human again. We’ve also elected a president and other people to do the same. To those who are really doing what they are supposed to do. I say from my heart, Thank you. Keep up the good work. BUT, we do need to help our other veterans (Vietnam & Korea) because they are still in need.
