VFW’s Combat Tested Gaming tournaments is bringing together Veterans, active duty personnel and the gaming world. The tournaments foster camaraderie, emotional support and service, providing a space for mental well-being and the opportunity to learn more about Veteran benefits.
In its second annual season, Combat Tested Gaming will focus on popular online games “Rocket League” and “Valorant.” These events aren’t just about competition; they’re about creating a strong sense of community. Players from all branches, including Veterans, active duty members, reservists and National Guard are all invited to compete.
Registration for Combat Tested Gaming tournaments ends January 25. The league starts February 4 and 5, with games taking place every Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. CT/ 8:00 p.m. ET. The league will run through March 11, with the final week being dedicated to the final tournament.
In addition to the gaming tournaments, VFW’s initiative provides an avenue for Veterans to access important resources, including health care and benefits information. The combination of leisure and service creates an accessible, supportive environment for all involved—making it easier for Veterans to address their needs while building relationships with fellow service members.
The Combat Tested Gaming Tournaments are much more than just a fun way to compete; they are a space to relax, connect and make valuable connections with those who share similar experiences, all while receiving the help and support they deserve. Whether you’re looking to compete, build friendships or seek guidance on your benefits, VFW is creating a community that embraces all aspects of military life—both online and offline. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting initiative.
