I’m an 80 year old attorney who is working full time. I served as a first lieutenant in Viet Nam, as a Company Commander for a combat engineer company. I applied for a job as an attorney with the JAG corps recently, and when someone actually called me, they just laughed when I told them how old I was. I’ve been working as a sole practitioner in Indiana, specializing in criminal and family law cases since 1990. I still handle criminal jury trials and custody trials. My reason for thinking about switching jobs is because my wife, who has been my only employee for the last 30 years, isn’t up to stress any longer, and I can’t do all of her work, and mine much longer. I don’t want to retire, and I don’t want to go through the hiring and training of a new office manager.

Prst. Trump started to cut employees especially probationers ate the target. But… many veterans still on probation. I hope they have a priority and VA can protect veterans even they’re still on probation now. They served our country doesn’t matter how many years. They used their life time for our country. Now they need to protect by VA! Don’t remove veterans! God bless veterans!!!
