Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Cesar Jesus Visurraga. Cesar served in the U.S. Army, active duty reserves, from 2005-2013. Cesar was a U.S. Army Nurse Officer (66H) serving in Walter Reed Army Medical Center and deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 2007-2009 with the 86th Combat Support Hospital. Cesar served as a head nurse, charge nurse, and finally, a critical care nurse in Iraq.
With his experience, he went back to school to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Today, he is a proud CRNA serving our fellow veterans for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Thank you for your service, Cesar!
