Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Kyiesha Coachman.

Kyiesha joined the Army in 1999. She attended basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advance Individual Training in Fort Lee, Virginia to become a 92A Automated Logistics Specialist.

During her time in the Army, she was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas; Camp Casey, Korea; Wiesbaden, Germany; and Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.

While in Germany, she deployed to Iraq from 2005-2006 as a Logistic Specialist supporting troops outside the wire with obtaining supplies.

She was honorably discharged from Peterson AFB in 2009.

After leaving the military, she graduated from Colorado Technical University in 2014. She now lives in Corpus Christi, Texas and works for the Defense Logistics Agency on board Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. She is an active volunteer and a member of Women Veterans of the Coastal Bend.

Thank you for your service, Kyiesha!
