Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Cesar Jesus Visurraga.
Cesar served in the Army from 2005 to 2013.
He was an Army Nurse Officer serving in Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Cesar deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007 with the 86th Combat Support Hospital. There he served as Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, and a critical care nurse.
After that experience, he went back to school to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He currently serves proudly as a CRNA for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
