As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, VA held a #VeteranChat on Twitter to elevate the conversation about how to support Veterans’ mental health at transition points — like leaving military service, starting school, or entering the civilian workforce.
Amazon Military; the Mission Continues; the Pat Tillman Foundation; Team Red, White & Blue; and, Team Rubicon joined VA’s hour-long chat and live Q&A to draw on broad experience and provide tips for helping Veterans find the information and resources they need to get on a path to success.
Check out some top questions from VA during the chat and great responses from participants with helpful tips and resources for Veterans and supporters. And, visit MakeTheConnection.net to hear from Veterans who have shared their stories of making it through difficult times and to find resources for overcoming challenges during life’s transitions.
