Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Harry Porch.

Harry joined the Navy in 1946.

He was assigned to USS Randolph and toured the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. He visited countries such as Rome, Scotland, Trinidad, and England, where he met his future wife.

He was later placed into Air Group CVEG-3E and assigned as plane captain to the Squadron Commander’s aircraft. He remained with the Air Group until his discharge in July 1948.

Thank you for your service, Harry.
