Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran John Garcia. John served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
John graduated from Texas Christian University in 2005. He served as an Armor Officer for almost five years at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. When he deployed to Iraq, he held many leadership responsibilities. He also collaborated on various intelligence, operation, and civil affair projects. After his discharge in 2010, he worked in various managerial roles in private sector businesses. Today, John is an executive search consultant with Lucas Group in Houston helping senior Veterans and military retirees find and transition into corporate job roles.
Thank you for your service, John!
