Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Jon Nepute.
Jon joined the Army as an officer. He served in Korea, the Pentagon, and was a senior instructor at Texas Christian University assisting with College ROTC. Later, he became a full department Chair of Military Science at California State University, Fullerton. From 2006-2007, he was a logistics liaison officer for NATO and Iraqi Army in Baghdad, Iraq. He received his Master of Education degree from Texas Christian University in 2003. Jon retired in 2012 after 26 years of active service. Currently, he is a JROTC instructor at Centennial High School in Atlanta, GA.
