Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is William Schranz.
William served in the Navy from 2003 to 2007 as an Aviation Boatswains Mate.
His duty stations included USS Mahan DDG72 and USS Harry S. Truman CVN75. He deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom on the USS Mahan working with NATO forces.
He currently works as the Veteran Outreach Program Coordinator for Urban Warriors at YMCA of Metro Chicago, where he recruits Veterans for the program and empowers Veterans in fulfilling their mentorship responsibilities.
Thank you for your service, William!
