Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Phil Ayers.
Phil served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. During his tour, he was awarded three Purple Hearts for injuries he sustained.
He is currently the pastor of Glade Creek Baptist church near Roanoke, VA.
