Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Air Force Veteran Harlan Hobbs.
As a longtime pilot, Harlan served many years of honorable service in the Air Force. He flew the B-25 and the A-26 in World War II. In Korea, he flew the F-86. During the 1950s, Harlan often flew the Century Series aircraft (F-100 and F-105).
For his service, Harlan was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Upon retirement, Harlan moved to San Antonio, then to Virginia, where he currently resides. He now works in real estate and property management.
Thank you for your service, Harlan!
