On Sept. 18, as part of our Suicide Prevention Month campaign, VA hosted a Twitter chat in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, Team Rubicon, and Team RWB.

The chat focused on the importance of connecting Veterans with their communities and discussed ways to help prevent Veteran suicide this September and year round.

Here’s a summary of the discussion, which covered a wide range of topics and provided valuable resources from VA and our partners.
