Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Peter Somerville.
Peter served in the Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer from 2004 to 2008. During that time he served with 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment on a deployment to Ramadi and Rutbah Iraq. There he serves as a Rifle Platoon Commander leading 44 Marines and Navy Corpsmen.
He now serves as the Director of Investor Relations with StreetShares, where he helps Americans invest in loans that are provided to Veteran-owned businesses.
Thank you for your service, Peter!
