Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Chuck Choney. Chuck served during the Vietnam War.

Chuck was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through the ROTC program at Oklahoma State University in March 1969. He served in Vietnam until September 1975. Chuck then earned the rank of Captain.

While in Vietnam, Chuck was as a Platoon Leader and Interim Company Commander with Company B, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division.

Along with being awarded a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, Chuck also earned honorary title of Numu Pukutsi.
