Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Melvin Kusin. Melvin was showcased on the Andy Fancher Presents blog and YouTube channel. Melvin served during World War II.
During the Fall of 1943, Melvin volunteered for the Army. He joined the 20th Armored Division. In 1945, he went overseas where he witnessed the fall of Nazi Germany. Melvin experienced mostly swift American victory throughout his time in Europe, although he remembers a tense battle in Munich that preceded the end of the war.
Melvin was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1946.
Thank you for your service, Melvin!
