Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Brian Kinney. Brian served from 1981 to 1996.
Brian served at NAS Pensacola, Florida and on the ammunition ships, USS Vulcan, USS Holland and USS Mount Baker. During his service, he deployed in support of Desert Storm providing ammo and bombs to carrier ships. Brian also worked as a machine gunner post and dealt with missiles and torpedo’s.
After retiring from the military, Brian worked for 3M until 2015. He began volunteering at the Lexington, Kentucky VA Medical Center to give back to fellow Veterans.
