Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Coast Guard Veteran Christian Pina.
Christian served for nine years in the Coast Guard, working his way to Boatswain’s Mate Second Class. He was in charge of small boat crews and was responsible as Officer of the Deck.
He was stationed on the USCGC Hammerhead in Woods Hole, MA, USCGC Pendant in Boston, and at Station Castle Hill in Newport, RI.
During his service, Christian completed more than 250 search and rescue missions.
