Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Michelle Downs Mantooth. Michelle served as an officer for five years.
Michelle graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2010 and served for five years as a surface warfare officer on the USS Port Royal both at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and at sea. Her duties included electrical maintenance supervision and media coordination for public events. Michelle was honorably discharged and worked for over two years in the private sector before earning her Master of Business Administration in May 2018. She now works as a digital marketing manager for the United Services Automobile Association (USAA). Michelle’s hobbies include weightlifting, for which she qualified at the national Olympic level.
Thank you for your service, Michelle!
