Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Marine Corps Veteran Dan Manrique. Dan served during the Afghanistan War.

Dan served with the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division and was deployed to Afghanistan with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit in 2007. After his time of service, Dan worked with various non-profits. The first being an LA non-profit that helped provide financial planning assistance for Veterans with mental health diagnoses. He joined Team RWB, in 2012, as a volunteer, and only recently took a full-time position with the company.

Dan, a Thousands Oaks native, was the head of the Ventura County Team RWB chapter. He was one of 12 people killed at the Borderline Bar & Grill on November 7th.

We honor his service.
