Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran David Anthony Napoliello, who served from 1968 to 1996.
United States Army Veteran David Anthony Napoliello served in the Army from 1968 to 1996, including a tour to Vietnam. Over the years he participated in 15 operations and 3 campaigns. In addition to Vietnam, he served in Germany, Syria, Israel, and Egypt.
Napoliello was a forward observer, assistant executive officer, battalion aerial observer, and aerial observer. He received a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from the Naval War college, and retired at the rank of Colonel with 23 service awards. After retiring, he taught at Creighton University as an assistant Professor of Military Science and Cadet Admissions Officer.
