    +On 2 other occasions I have tried to apply for this benefit as well as the post exchange that became available to all vets in the last couple years. Results, the same. I served 4 years in the Air Force from 1955 to 1959 and the response to my applications was the same, they could fine no record of my service. I’ve been enrolled in the V.A. for over 20 years. I’m a member of the american legion for over 30 years. Yet this outfit can’t verify my service. this last application they asked for a copy of my drivers license that has the word “veteran” on it. I sent them one that also had a photo and VETERAN marked clearly on it. Today I received an email saying they could not approve my application because they needed something that proves I am a veteran. The driver’s license is one of the options they asked for during the application process. Duh!. I’m beginning to believe this whole website is a scam. Beware you fellow vets. Hopefully they can not get any special personal info from my drivers license that can cause me trouble down the line.

    Well, where is the “Create an Account” part? I see the words at the top of the page but there seems to be no link to where one can sign up. Remember, there are a lot of us OLD vets who are not totally computer savvy. If it isn’t spelled out, it is difficult for us to do it. PLEASE change your sign-up process to make it easy for us old vets to take advantage of, what appears to be, great opportunities for great products.

      Don’t hit, Red box with “CREATE FREE ACCOUNT” in it. Go to the top of white background and hit the, “ShopVCS.com”. A new page will come up an on the top right side there are two blue boxes, one (Log in) is for signing into existing acct. and the second (Sign up) is to create a new acct. GOOD LUCK!

      It will open another window with the form to fill out. You can take a picture of your 214, or do love me I did, a photo of my drivers license. It took less than a minute to verify.
      It took me long hen to another window to choose a password. That’s all. Very easy.

    I am disappointed in coverage and outside health plans can even cost less. I pay 50.00 for co-pay and my Aetna is 20.00 and 30.00 specialist. I truly thought after one primary visit, I could receive follow up needed medical attention but I did not. I am 76 years old now and served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1970. The rank of Sgt E-5. Is this all I am worth now?

    I tried to create an account for the VCS but couldn’t get past the picture of the DL. I’d load it, hit verify and it would think it over for about four seconds before taking me back to the load image page. I tried a few different images, different sizes but nothing appeared to get through. No messages as to why, image too large or small, just kept circling around.

    You cannot be asking any Veteran to make a copy of their Veteran/military ID. There is a regulation/law against doing this (unless some new IDs exist that I do not have or know about). It promotes a security risk too.
