All VA facilities and clinics that administer COVID-19 vaccines are accepting walk-ins for eligible Veterans, spouses and caregivers.
This walk-in service ensures all Veterans enrolled in VA health care and those authorized under the SAVE LIVES Act have an opportunity to receive a COVID-19 vaccination from VA at a time convenient for them.
The effort is in support of the president’s goal of administering at least one vaccine shot to 70% of the U.S. adult population by July 4. The urgency to vaccinate as many eligible individuals as quickly as possible remains a top priority for VA.
“VA encourages those who wish to get their COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment to check the walk-in hours and requirements at their local facility,” said Acting VA Under Secretary for Health Richard Stone, M.D. “ Individuals taking advantage of walk-in vaccinations may need to wait for the vaccine to be prepared and will be screened when entering the facility.”
To date, VA has vaccinated more than 2.7 million individuals, including over 60,000 individuals under the SAVE LIVES Act. For more information about COVID-19 vaccinations at VA, click here.
VA vaccination clinics are not open 24 hours. Face masks are mandatory for all and physical distancing measures will be in place.

Orange county. We have had no response now for over last four months on my husband’s possible TBI appointment for CT scan, Hospital has no record of his referral and has now had to wait for someone to answer his phone calls. We call on a daily basis and nothing has happened he is very patient but come on please ..he wasn’t late ten years in his service two terms in Iraq I feel very strongly about this he is not sleeping well hardly at all and forgetting more as life goes by . Someone reach out i’am always been a advocate for homeless and especially homeless vets now over twenty years. GOD BLESS

Interesting, above messaging says “VA accepting walk-ins for COVID-19 vaccinations nationwide”. I plan to do the walk-in with my Spouse. I can’t get confirmation for an appointment through the on-line app.
Also, why are we only at 38% and still can’t seem to get appts. The Government seems to be passing approvals and claiming success. I just want the follow up for my Spouse and myself. PerryPoint VA
Perry Point? Nice place! Just dodge the deer. I suggest take your spouse along. They can only refuse her entry. When I went to Lebanon, Pa. They were talking about caregivers being allowed. But that wasn’t happening then. 3 weeks ago.
The caregiver program rolled out their new guidelines in October of 2020 and the benefits are still up in the air when it comes to the new increase. There are veterans who need this to be finalized ASAP so that they can afford copays for doctors visits and medication that the va doesn’t supply. Is there a date when this will happen???
Help the veterans in the Philippines
We need more vaccine in the Philippines. While the VA Clinic has received a small allocation of vaccines, they can’t even vaccinate their senior patients much less the approximately 30,000 veterans living here.
