Wellness Wednesdays, the series of free financial education seminars, continues Sept. 15, this time focusing on changing jobs.
New Beginnings: Managing Employment Change. If you are planning to change jobs or start a new career, you don’t want to miss this!
Topics covered in the seminar include:
- Which benefits go with you when you leave your employer
- Unemployment compensation and managing cash flow
- Maintaining financial wellness during the transition
This seminar will be conducted live, free of charge and offer you the opportunity to ask questions of qualified financial counselors.
There are three, one-hour-long sessions, at 1:00, 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time (10:00 a.m., 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time)

Wellness Wednesdays seminars are offered free of charge to transitioning service members, Veterans and their families. The seminars are sponsored by VA in partnership with Prudential Financial Services.
Previous seminars in the series have covered paying for college, budgeting, emergency savings funds and tips for a healthy financial life. The seminars earned high marks consistently from participants.
