Virtual events are transforming the way job seekers and potential employers interact. Therefore, Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) service is hosting a structured workshop/webinar on mentorship. VR&E has partnered with three mentorship programs for the event(s): American Corporate Partners, Hire Heroes USA and NextGen. Join us on March 20 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. ET, in a 3-part panel discussion to learn how to equip yourself for your next career.

What is the resource?

Mentors can provide valuable advice in areas such as time management, interpersonal skills, business relationships, problem-solving, networking opportunities and navigating organizational dynamics. American Corporate Partners (ACP), Hire Heroes USA and NextGen will discuss their mentorship programs and assist you with navigating the private and federal work sectors.

ACP’s free mentoring program connects post-9/11 Veterans, active-duty spouses and eligible military spouses (Protégés) with corporate professionals (mentors) for customized mentorships. Hire Heroes USA helps U.S. service members and their spouses to achieve success here at home via a rewarding career path. NextGen offers a leadership program that supports emerging leaders by linking students and recent graduates to Fortune 500 companies and more.

Who is eligible?

This event is free to attend and will be offered to all VR&E participants, active duty service members, transitioning service members, Veterans and military spouses.

How to register for the event(s):

Registration is limited and only the first 3,000 in attendance will be allowed to enter the event. Register early at March 2024 Mentor Event. You can also register at this second link.

After you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to join on the day of the event.
