VA Public Affairs Photographer Robert Turtil tries to go to Normandy on vacation every year in conjunction with D-Day events. Robert says it has become part of who he is and always inspires him. There were thousands of Boy Scouts there from U.S. military facilities and countries all over Europe. Here is that event told with Robert Turtil’s photos.
