This year, VA’s Facebook page gained 400,000 new likes which helped us reach over 160 million Facebook feeds throughout the year. This is one of the most vital digital platforms we use to reach America’s 22 million Veterans. While we use Facebook to inform Veterans of VA’s services, we also aim to connect with Veteran’s friends, family members and supporters in the hopes they will act as our ambassador.
We have learned much from our community this year and will continue to improve our content based on your preferences. The following list includes all of VA’s Facebook posts that reached more than one million people.

Just when I didn’t think it could get any WORSE here at the Phoenix AZ VAMC, I find that it actually has.
I waited a year for my annual 15 minute physical, only to be told upon arriving that it was CANCELLED
Not so much as phone call or email, etc.
I’ve been rescheduled for feb 24, not that means anything to the VA. I drove 28 miles waited in the parking lot for 2 hours before the clinic opened, so I could hobble in using a walking cane and be able to park close enough, instead of driving around and around for a parking space, only to be told by an uncaring clerk that my appointment was canceled. I then lost it upon deaf ears. The apathy level keeps dropping even after 42 years when I use to work there but quite after 7 1/2 years [or I would have wound up like the people I worked with, completely apathetic.
I ‘ll await for my next “scheduled” appointment, if I’m still alive then. I have cancer and if the pain becomes unbearable, I will take my own life without hesitation, rather than suffer in complete solitude.
Don’t even bother to call me, I don’t see any point. When they did a month ago, they definitely made it care that they didn’t know what was going or much less didn’t care, and displayed a condescending attitude.
I see why 1500 to 1800 veterans DIE EACH DAY, and the number of suicides increases and they still don’t give a damn. Less work for them. Some day they will be out of a job at the VA, because veterans can’t get the care they deserve and there numbers will be greatly reduced, or at least spend 10 15 minutes with a doctor ONCE a year.
Those plastic cards they send out are totally worthless., for “outside” VA medical care. They cover themselves by saying the veteran has to call to get clearance, if they even bother to answer the phone, and then the veteran will find that they have to pay for outside care.
The guy who is in “charge” of the VA now, just doesn’t get it. I’m sure that he and the people in charge will enjoy their bonus’s..
I am a retired disabled veteran Trying to find out the tax benefits in VA prior to moving there. The property tax benefit is so vague and poorly worded that I was trying to w3hat actually applied to me. Is it? having a 100%, permanent and total, service-connected disability (which is what I have)
or who have a service-connected individual unemployable disability rating are exempt from paying real estate taxes on their primary residence. it says this differs by municipality but no one responds as to what or where. I wanted to move to either the Richmond area or the Norfolk area.
If anyone knows my email is metsfreeze11@yahoo.com
It is heart warming to see so many of them out there and the citizens being proud of their bravery !! I love their confidence !! CHEERS to them !!!
