Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Anna Escareno-Garza.
Anna joined the Air Force in 1989. She served as a Law Enforcement Specialist from 1990 to 1994.
Six years later, she re-enlisted as an Information Technology Specialist, serving from 2001 to 2011. She deployed to Iraq in 2005 and in 2008.
Anna medically retired in 2011.
She is now married with four children and three grandchildren. She is currently attending Del Mar College working on a Paralegal Degree.
