Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Navy Veteran Patricia Ann Franks.
Patricia served in Navy Women’s Reserve (WAVES) from 1946 to 1953.
She served at Bethesda, Maryland as a Hospital Corpsman Second Class. She was assigned at the Naval Hospital mainly in the dependent wards. She also served in the cardiology department.
Patricia enlisted in the Navy so she could afford to go to college.
Thank you for your service, Patricia!
