Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Alan Shebaro. Alan served for 15 years on active duty, in the reserves and with the National Guard.
Alan served as a mechanic, drill sergeant and was a special forces non-commissioned officer. He served with the 3rd Special Forces group for one tour in Iraq. Alan also completed Army Airborne School. He was part of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare School team that won the 2006 All Army Combative tournament in 2006.
Today, Alan owns a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school called Tier 1 in McKinney, Texas. Along with actively competing in competitions, he works with the We Defy foundation which strives to reduce military Veteran suicide.
Thank you for your service, Alan!
