Today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Tristan Gross. Tristan served from 1993 to 2017.
Tristan enlisted in the Army in 1993 as a fire direction specialist and was tasked with helping to figure out how to efficiently fire artillery where needed. He also served as an advisor to the Iraqi Army and as a human resources non-commissioned officer at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Tristan deployed twice to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom and once to Honduras for a humanitarian mission.
Tristan retired in 2017 after 25 years of service, and today works as a truck driver with JB Hunt in the Killeen, Texas area. He received several awards, including the Bronze Star and the Air Assault badge.
Thank you for your service, Tristan!
