Out of the thousands of golf courses across the country, only one of them was designed for disabled Veterans to use. The American Lake Veterans Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington is a nine hole golf course that allows for special golf carts that fit the needs of disabled Veterans. When Jack Nicklaus was told demand was high, he volunteered to help expand the course to 18 holes.
