Deloris “Dee” Moton Quaranta’s military career started as an administrative personnel in the Office of the Comptroller at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Here, she was hand-selected to create an administrative office for the new Professional Military Education School at Clark Air Base in the Philippines. She then went to Shaw Air Force Base, where she helped set up the Airman Leadership School. Over her military career, Quaranta also worked on a special assignment for the AIRSOUTH NATO command in Naples, Italy. She also served as the administrative office supervisor for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Program Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Following her last assignment before retirement at Tinker Air Force Base, Quaranta continues to support the military, especially women Veterans. As a result, she founded a company that has brought attention to the unique needs and accomplishments of women Veterans. She has advocated on their behalf at the national level. A Florida native, she successfully spearheaded the implementation of Women Veterans Recognition Week at the state and local levels.
Over her career, Dee received a Meritorious Service Medal, NATO Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Veteran of Influence award, and an Air Force Angel Award for Volunteerism among a multitude of others.
