A community united in Fayetteville to honor heroes during Wreaths Across America, laying 10,000 wreaths in a heartfelt tribute to service and sacrifice.
Wreaths Across America Radio, a 24-7 internet radio station that airs podcasts and radio shows aimed at educating and entertaining Veterans, has made a major expansion to its programming lineup. With a commitment to providing diverse and engaging content, the web-based platform now offers more than 50 shows, including seven new Veteran-theme programs.
Wreaths Across America is synchronized with Arlington National Cemetery on the same day and time, with over 13,000 wreaths placed at headstones.
This year, National Wreaths Across America Day is on Sat. Dec. 16, and will take place at more than 4,200 participating locations across the country. This total, which includes Arlington National Cemetery, is more than 500 above last year’s total.

VA Secretary Robert L. Wilkie said while COVID-19 scaled down Wreaths Across America events, they still ensure people remember Veterans.
Veterans and their families can participate in Wreaths Across America in national cemeteries, but there will be restrictions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to honor fallen Veterans is carried out with wreath-laying ceremonies at cemeteries across the U.S. and abroad.
This Saturday, Dec. 16, volunteers will place holiday wreaths to honor and remember America’s Veterans at more than 100 VA national cemeteries as part of the annual Wreaths Across America event.
Wreaths Across America events will be held Dec. 17 at VA national cemeteries to honor and remember our nation’s Veterans.
The end result was a beautiful cemetery – a hallowed ground – decorated with a sense of love and deep appreciation for those whose final resting place serves as a testament and reminder to all Americans that freedom and liberty are not free.
Since 2006, volunteers from Veterans service organizations, the Civil Air Patrol and community groups have placed wreaths at VA’s national cemeteries and state Veterans cemeteries.
