VA has hired more nurses to support Veteran patient health care during the coronavirus pandemic. In March, VA conducted more than 2,300 screenings and interviews for nursing staff.
More than thirty nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses and registered nurses reported in August to the Biloxi VA as part of planned response to Veteran need during global health crisis.
