VA2K marked its 16th year in May, bringing together employees, Veterans and community members to walk and donate in support of Homeless Veterans.
Veteran Edward Afanador was recently given the chance to walk again when the Wilmington VA Prosthetics Department invited him to be a part of a trial for a device called a microprocessor-controlled C-brace.
