Did you know that 5,650 steps a day can have a positive impact on your overall well-being? That’s why Team Red, White & Blue (RWB) is challenging supporters to take on their own movement goal beginning April 18 as part of its 7-day annual Marching Orders event.
Team RWB is a nonprofit organization forging America’s leading health and wellness community for Veterans. Team RWB believes Veterans are America’s most resilient citizens and a strong focus on physical and mental health allows Veterans to be their best selves for their family, community and country.
“Marching Orders, presented by Bravo Sierra, is a nationwide movement aimed to inspire Veterans and supporters to improve their health through physical activity that starts by putting one foot in front of the other,” said Mike Erwin, founder and executive director of Team RWB.
“This event will challenge Veterans to prioritize their health by tapping into the power of movement and is a great first step for people of all fitness levels to begin their journey,” Erwin added.
The Marching Orders movement is for experienced athletes and beginners alike. Participants of all abilities can select a run, walk, hike, ruck or adaptive push goal at one of three various difficulty levels.
On April 24, participants are encouraged to gather with their Team RWB local chapter, other Veterans and friends to crush their final daily goal and celebrate completing the challenge.
To join the challenge, Veterans and supporters are invited to register as a team or individual at teamrwb.org/marchingorders. Those who check-in through the Team RWB App after registering will be eligible for daily prizes.
It’s never too late to prioritize health and wellness. Whether you take 2,500 steps or 10,000, Marching Orders is an opportunity to get started on your journey.
